Sketching Letter class taught by Nate1.  A great introduction to the Art of Graffiti from an old skool writer with a New Skool style.

Class is April 10 from 12:30 to 3:30pm
 
Features
  • Sketching Letters will be taught by Nate1 monthly at 1AM gallery. The class begins with a discussion about graffiti history and style from the Tag to the Piece to the Production. Examples of Bubble Letters, Block Letters, Soft Funk Style, and Wildstyle will be outlined and taught based on each students preference. The class then jumps into sketching letters on paper with Nate1 closely guiding and carefully developing each students letters and demonstrating styles using an overhead projector. Nate1 intermingles some of his local experiences and past work in between the student sketching sessions. At the end of the class, there will be a live demonstration of Nate1 spray painting letters and characters. This is a great opportunity to learn from a local legend in a fun, safe, and creative environment.
